More About Our Process:

My personal potager.  Every time I look out my kitchen window I am inspired.  Not only is it visually stunning, it also comforts me to know the weeds aren't out of control.  It looks less like work and more like pleasure.  There are a total of 8 Eastern Red Cedar beds, 3 cedar planter boxes, Rocky Mountain Rose stepping stones, Alabama Sunset gravel, and brick edging.  A total masterpiece.

Twyla was concerned, she had made a big move from California to beautiful Kentucky, and she didn't know how to grow in this new environment. She was an experienced home gardener in California but the new hardiness zone, empty space, and the idea of starting all over again left her dreading this growing season. That's when she invited us in, and we could not be more excited to be a part of this garden creation! We were able to design a 15-bed garden and plant 30 different fruits and vegetables that combine her preferences and Kentucky's climate. Now she is growing everything from cucumbers to the sweet stevia herb. Twyla has everything she needs, including deer fencing, for a successful first growing season in Kentucky and for years to come!

This four bed arrangement was inspired from English Potager Gardens surrounded with boxwoods, lavender, and topiaries. We installed raised beds filled with strawberries, lettuces, herbs, flowers, and other seasonal veggies. There are four 7ft tall obelisk trellises centered in each bed to support her tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and pole beans. The final design is still underway!

Turns out that this corner of her yard wasn't too shady at all! We got a full 6-8 hours of sun to grow spring, summer, and fall plants.

We connected after she purchased our Edible Gardening Calendar from her local Kroger store. Erin's son is an organic farmer and an inspiration for her garden. This year's goal was to start small then add on with success.

Erica and her son have been gardening for years but wanted a fresh look.  We removed her old beds and added our signature pathways and borders.  They had some rodent trouble so we added topper-cages as an aesthetic safeguard for her neighborhood backyard.  She loves it!

Kelly's Garden was built to keep small rodents out and her veggies in! As a first year grower, she wanted assurance that her adorable space would be safely protected. She had a GREAT first year. Kelly also enjoyed our Private Garden Club!

Kathy gifted gardens to both of her children.  In memory of her son Walker, we installed two beds on his property.  He had a garden every year, and grew the best tomatoes.  This garden will keep his tradition alive. It has been my honor to be a part of this project. Two beds also went to her son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Stella.

Michelle and Justin of Anchorage decided to expand raised beds into this beautiful greenhouse. She is starting her own seeds, using our irrigation, and built in plant supports to trellis her tomatoes. Bye bye deer! Hello year-round garden!!

After 20 years, Janet of St. Matthews hired us to renovate her home garden. We removed the old structures and built fresh raised bed planter boxes. Isn't the cedar lovely? The irrigation is hardly noticeable and the gravel keeps the pathways clean!

Cheryl and her military family travel a lot and wanted something edible to enjoy during poolside summers. Her daughter was this garden's biggest advocate! Two foot tall x 10 foot long beds keep the dogs out and root depth in. 

After meeting at the Locust Grove Gardener's Fair, Sara and I booked a consultation immediately. She and her husband had just moved into a new neighborhood after downsizing from their previous home. She had a darling deck garden but decided she needed to dedicate more space for the garden. She is so in love with her new outdoor space, the height of the beds, and the double arches! We couldn't be more pleased to get you growing more food!
